Even Jesus Christ had to take a shit… and when he did, he aimed about 60 miles to the west of Chicago and it landed on what we like to call Rockford, IL.

Rockford is a nowhere town. why is that? Because of the conservative assholes that own the town. The churches run Rockford and always will and their ignorance is the reason why that fucking town will never grow.

As we all know, yet another hip-hop show was cancelled in Rockford… costing us time, money and energy we all put into making this town a good place to show our artistic expression.

Why are these hip-hop shows being cancelled? Because of the racial and prejudice divide that blankets the city of Rockford. I moved to Rockford when I was nine years old and at that age, I felt the division amongst people. I always have and I always will. Anyone who comes from Rockford tends to hate on someone before getting to know someone. It’s the ways it’s always been. I won’t lie, I used to have those same feelings too when I lived there.

Take a walk on the East side of Rockford and what do you see? Nice homes, chain restaurants, shopping malls. You know, everything you’d expect in your average town.

Now, cross that “Bridge” to the West side and what do you see? Run down housing, old factories still sitting there and a soaring crime rate. I have never seen a town so divided and it makes me sick.

How can Rockford grow when the Mayor cannot take initiative and clean up the divisions that plague every ones mind. The police force is a joke and ignorance will always keep this town from reaching its fullest potential.

Growth isn’t adding another chain restaurant on state street only to replace another failing chain restaurant. Growth isn’t adding another Starbucks on the corner. Growth isn’t adding another fucking power church that claims they do it all for “God”.

Growth is in your mind. All of our minds and Art is the only thing we have that has no color barrier. Artistic expression is what makes you think differently, is what pushes you to get up everyday and change the world. Music and Art drives us more than we’d like to think.

So, I say to you all, We will not let Rockford win this battle. We will not walk away or back down. We will fight until we can express ourselves freely. I believe inevery one’s full capabilities and it’s time we all come together and stop all the hating. Let’s send Rockford a message that we are here to say something.

The Bridge will be suing the city of Rockford, IL and I plan to support them 100%. It’s completely unfair to a group that has done nothing but try to bring people together. This fight isn’t just about a show being cancelled, it’s about supporting all the amazing artists and musicians that believe in the Rock.

It seems to me, that Facebook leaves an ugly

little cookie on the iPhone.

I let Sunshine, my girlfriend, Borrow the iPhone to try out Facebooks new iPhone interface last night. She played with it for a minute, Logged Out, and gave it back. Well. I Logged in, and clicked “Status” on the top. The display read:

Sunshine is: []

So I assumed that it just had left her name in the cache. I proceeded to type my status message, and the messages updated on HER profile.

Ugh.

I’ve been running this blog since 2004. My senior year in high-school. Since then it has been a mash of bad design, bad code, and bad writing. I’ve never consistently written, kept a journal or done anything worth while. When I do write, it’s rarely anything worth talking about.

So. I’m going to be brief about this, I’ve got a new project up my sleeve. The sad is lonely zackisamazing.com blog is going to <strike>die</strike> continue on sucking the life out of the few people who read this. The new project is going to live at imNotTellingYet.com, but if you check back to this blog once in a while, I’ll give you the link to what’s going to be my attempt at a web2.0 social, big button thing.

I have no idea how i’m going to manage. But no beer in June of `07. That is all.

I know, I know. Every third blog on the internet is firing out their last minute MacWorld Expo thoughts, but I Wouldn’t be a Mac using Blogger (or blogging Mac user) if I didn’t.

Any Way, my predictions? I’d assume a new iWork ‘07, iLife ‘07, Probably a iTunes .5 update or something. I’d really like to be able to take home an iTv, but from what I’ve heard, it’s not gonna happen.

We’ll hear MORE about Leopard, but I doubt we’re takin’ that home. Also, I’m starting to doubt the announcement of a phone.
